Today I can hardly contain myself.  You have been praying for my niece, Adriana, since the end of August.  She was born at 26 weeks of gestation.  It has been a bumpy road with a micro-preemie, and without getting overly-confident, I feel like she has really turned a corner this week.

I am proud to report that Adriana is now completely off of oxygen.  She is breathing on her own.  If you have ever experienced the ups and downs of  a preemie’s life, then I don’t have to tell you how huge this accomplishment is.  Adriana is also on her way to getting off of the feeding tube.  She is doing well on the bottle, and today she was able to feed at the breast.

She is not home yet.  Therefore, we are not ready to exhale completely, but today has been a thrilling day.  So please keep those prayers coming.  God is working miracles.
