Stopped by from the Carnival of Homeschooling and so glad I did. I also have the Gift of Dyslexia and am planning to begin the same activities with my kids. Great to see it plainly in front of me!:)

I have had a lot of success with older kids using sentence strips – especially when learning sentence structure. They are particularly helpful for learning punctuation. I put periods, question marks and commas on clothespins and let them clip them on. A great way to make a complicated subject hands on.
