This weather is nuts, Laura! I've lived in St. Louis for eleven years. I don't ever remember our temps going as low as they are for as extended a period of time as they have been. We will have had highs below freezing for about 2 1/2 weeks. It's been cold before, but not nearly so long! I just got in from taking my kids out to play in the snow. I only let my little ones (3,4) stay out for about five minutes. It wasn't worth it for me, but it was worth every second of those minutes for them. Our current wind chill is -2. I have my animals all snugged in here in North Cental Texas. They won't know what to thing of the weather poor babies. I am just glad it is supposed to be dry, no ice storms!! Stay warm.
