Ms. Nettie,
I love the way you write. It makes me just want to reach out and give you a hug. Stay safe and happy soap-making.

Thanks so much Ms. Lara! Will do! I have been making Goat Milk Soap for a little while, and I had a lady ask me if I had the Liquid Goat Milk Soap...I have been using the recipe book "Milk-Based Soaps" by Casey Makela...wonderful recipes..but did not have the "Liquid Soaps"...I will let you know what happens...let's Pray it might just work! On another note, I read where you got caught up in grass fires, we had to evacuate last week with about 20 other families...it was scary stuff, but my husband and I had a Peace about it! Father God has our Backs! Have a Blessed Day my Friend!

Before I made the liquid soap, the bars had cured for two weeks. It was not purposeful. It was just when I wanted to make the liquid version. I would assume that you would have to wait a minimum of 48 hours. I have not tried a cured bar. If you try, please let me know how it goes. I thought the recipe was a great way to use uncured bars of soap.
Thanks,
Lara

Howdy from East Texas!

How long do you wait to make liquid soap from your bars of soap? I see where you use "uncured bars". Have you ever tried to use a cured bar? I wonder what would happen? Looking forward to your reply!

Christina,
I am sorry but I don't know how many ounces my bars of soap are? I will try to determine the answer to your question and get back with you.
